I’ve mentioned this about 86 times by now on Instagram, but this bread is so versatile. I am still working on a savory version that I want to perfect before sharing, but until then, you can drool over how damn MOIST this is. What flavors would you guys like to see of this tahini bread?? Shoot me a DM on Instagram or comment below.

Let’s keep this post short and sweet and cut to the chase, shall we??

Description

A fresh twist on my classic tahini bread recipe, this is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients

This is the classic tahini bread recipe:

  • 6 TBSP Trader Joe’s Organic Tahini
  • 4 eggs (flax eggs will NOT work – sorry that you had to be the one to find that out Isabelle)
  • 2 TBSP Honey
  • 1 TBSP Vanilla extract
  • 1 TSP Baking powder
  • 1 TSP Cinnamon

Add the following:

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • The zest and juice of one lemon (more or less depending on how strong you want the lemon flavor)
  • 1 TBSP almond flour

Instructions

PREHEAT OVEN TO 375.

PREPARE

Combine all “classic” ingredients using a whisk, then add the “classic” dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, toss the blueberries and almond flour until blueberries are lightly coated. Add this mixture to the classic batter, and mix in the lemon. Then, pour into a well greased loaf pan.

BAKE

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
