Description
This is a trendy wellness blogger’s DREAM treat…Kombucha combined with a Simple Mills Gluten-Free product?? Am I kidding?? These are super simple and fudgy AF.
Ingredients
- One box of Simple Mills Chocolate muffin/cake almond flour mix (Gluten Free)
- 1/2 a bottle of GT Kombucha (8oz total) – I used Strawberry Serenity, but I think many of their flavors would work well!
- 1/2 container of Simple Mills Chocolate frosting
- Optional – 1 cup melted chocolate and 1 TBSP coconut oil
Instructions
Make the Cake
Combine the cake mix and 8oz of kombucha in a bowl, then pour the mixture into a greased rectangular baking dish. Please note that it will be extremely watery, but just trust me on this.
Bake at 350 for 25-30 min (or until a toothpick comes out clean)!
Sip on the remaining booch while the cake bakes or go crazy and make a second batch 🙂
Form the Balls
Once the cake is cooled, break it up and combine with 1/2 container of @simplemills frosting. Then, roll into 25 balls and freeze for 20 min to allow them to set.
*Optional Coating*
Combine 1 cup of your choice chocolate chips with 1 TBSP coconut oil. Dunk each cake ball in the mixture (and maybe get fancy and add some sprinkles on top). Allow to set before enjoying!
Notes
Even though I used the chocolate cake mix, I am sure the vanilla would work as well! Now is your chance to get creative (with minimal ingredients needed might I add…)! Let me know what flavor combinations you try with this recipe, and be sure to use hashtag #BoochBonBonsbyB if you make these!
