Chocolate chip cookie dough frosting

You’ll want to eat this right from the bowl, just like when you make a batch of chocolate chip cookies. BUT with this, there’s no label advising you against doing so 🙂


  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unbleached Flour
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar (or coconut sugar)
  • 10 TBSP Room temp butter (I use Kerrygold unsalted)
  • 3 TBSP Crisco (anyone else think of the movie The Help when you hear this 😏)
  • 2 TBSP coconut milk (or milk of choice)
  • 2 TBSP Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips


With an electric mixer, cream the butter, crisco and sugar together for about 2 minutes (aka mix until you have a fluffy yellow mixture). Add in your vanilla and coconut milk and mix again. Slowly add all dry ingredients and finish off with chocolate chips!
